Film review “Jane Eyre”
“Jane Eyre” is one of the most famous novels of Сharlotta
Bronte. And I would like to tell you about the screening of this
novel. “Jane Eyre” is a British love romance film. The genre of
this film is drama. May be it can be very strange, but this film is
about provincial girl, who made herself her career, her name and
her love. Jane Eyre isn` t a beautiful girl. She doesn` t have a
beauty, but she has another important thing, she has a mind. Better
be born lucky than rich. May be she doesn` t have a beauty but she
has a rich inner world. The film transfers us in England, the 19th
century. Jane Eyre is shy, but proud and independent girl. She is an orphan.
She has gotten a job as a governess in mister Rochester` s estate.
At the beginning mister Rochester mocks at Jane, but then they have
fallen in love. Mister Rochester has a wife, but she is crazy,
nobody knows that his wife is live, even Jane. Jane and Rochester
want to marry. At the wedding day Jane has known a terrible secret.
She has known everything about his wife. Of course this secret has
changed everything. Jane has gone away, than she has inherited from
her uncle. Than she has understood that she really loves mister
Rochester and she has come back. Jane has known that after the fire
he has lost everything, even his health. But of course in the end
we can see a typical happy end. The climax of the film is when Jane has understood that she really
loves mister Rochester (when she heart the Rochester` s voice). I think it will be difficult to define the antagonist characters.
In the beginning we can say that Edward Fairfax Rochester is an
antagonist hero, but to the end of this film mister Rochester has
changed, so we can say that he is a protagonist hero. In my point
of view the main protagonist of this film is Jane Eyre and of
course there is opposite characters. I like this film. In my point of view the acting is perfect, most
off all I like the acting of Timothy Dalton. I like camera work,
because we can see a lot of beautiful landscapes. In my opinion the
director of this film (Julian Amyes) has done much work. This movie
screened in 1983. I` d advise you to see this film, because it` s the best screening
of this novel. The author of this article is Victoria
